Volunteer With Us

Every day, volunteers across the North West help people take their first steps towards recovery.

Whether you are answering the telephone or supporting someone directly, your time and experience can make a real difference.

If you are interested in volunteering, we would be very pleased to hear from you.

Volunteer as a Phone Responder

Be the first friendly voice someone hears.

Phone Responders answer enquiries from people looking for help, meeting information or support.

You will receive guidance and support before taking on the role.

Volunteer as a Twelfth Step Contact

Support someone as they begin their recovery journey.

Twelfth Step Contacts provide one-to-one support by sharing their experience and helping newcomers connect with the fellowship.
This important role is coordinated by trusted volunteers across the North West.

What happens next?

Submitting an application does not commit you to volunteering.

A trusted volunteer will contact you to explain the role and answer any questions you may have.

You will be supported throughout the process by experienced volunteers.
